Welcome to Ridgefield Family Eye Care, a nationally recognized optometric practice that was established in 1973 by Dr. Don Teig.  The goal of the practice was, and always will be, to provide the highest quality eye care by implementing cutting edge technology in a caring manner. We strive to educate our patients about maintaining healthy eyes while recommending the latest advances for maximizing vision throughout a lifetime.

The practice has grown immeasurably over the last 38 years.  With the addition of Dr. Alan Berman, Dr. Eric Bran, and Dr. Rachel Hawran, we have become one of the most successful practices in the country.  Our diverse expertise is what makes us unique.  These niches include, but are not limited to, Sports Vision Training, Vision Therapy, Specialty Contact Lenses, Glaucoma Treatment, Dry Eye Therapy, Lasik Evaluation, Macula Degeneration Assessment, and Cataract Co-Management.
